Welcome. My name is Joel, and my favorite thing to do is scuba diving. Nothing makes me happier than to take pictures, record videos, and share them with friends and fellow divers. I got PADI certified to scuba dive in 1999. HOWEVER, it was just a short-lived hobby that was too expensive at the time to continue. I took a 17 year break and was re-certified in 2016 by Mr. Ross Phillips from Austin, TX. Since then, I’ve logged approximately 400 dives all around the Caribbean.
I completed the PADI Instructor Development Course and exam over a one month period in August 2019 at Rainbow Reef in Key Largo, Florida. I’m also a certified instructor of many of my favorite specialties: Deep Diving, Night Diving, Wreck Diving and many more. I don’t currently teach, so if you need a recommendation in Austin or the Caribbean, I’d be glad to refer you to someone.
Back in 2017, I completed the PADI Divemaster certification over a one month period in Cozumel at Blue Angel Resort. I have spent more than 6 months of my life diving in Cozumel and other Caribbean destinations, like Belize, Tulum, and the Socorro Islands.
