Welcome. My name is Joel, and I got certified to scuba dive in 1999. HOWEVER, it was a hobby that was too expensive at the time to continue. I took a 17 year break and was re-certified in 2016. Since then, I’ve logged approximately 350 dives all around the Caribbean.
I completed the PADI Instructor Development Course and exam over a one month period in August 2019 at Rainbow Reef in Key Largo, Florida. I’m also an instructor of many of my favorite specialties: Deep Diving, Night Diving, Wreck Diving and many more. Prior to taking my IDC in Florida, I completed the PADI Divemaster certification over a one month period in Cozumel at Blue Angel Resort. I have spent about 6 months of my life diving in Cozumel and other Caribbean destinations, like Belize, Tulum, and the Socorro Islands.
